It’s an adventure through time and a discovery of new places- you'll be amazed!

"Where Life Takes You", is the theme for the new Meltin'Pot FW ’12 campaign. It’s a celebration of life, a walk on the wild side, taking its inspiration from the brand’s deepest roots!

The four main characters meet by chance in an old, bohemian, abandoned site which is inhabited by unusual items from past eras, suspended in time and ready to recount their historical tales. Alongside them, sit pieces from the Meltin'Pot collection, garments that appear to have traveled through time, with their unique force and identities, design forms and details, giving new life to the spaces around them.

The background setting gives a nostalgic flavor, that brings alive the energy and determination of the young protagonists that transmit the energy of the brand, as iconic as its jeans – ICONS presents the heart and soul of the collection: an authentic product, a symbol of "modern vintage" in a contemporary urban scene.

The focus of the images are centered on the product, revealing the details of the fits, treatments, washes, key elements that are highly visible in this contemporary ICONS collection. As the name expresses, ICONS is born from the mix of tradition and cutting edge technology, history and freedom, resulting in a collection that is a mix of total innovative and surprises with comfort being at the helm.

The campaign, led by the Dutch agency staat ..., will be visible on the web (www.meltinpot.com) and in-store via POP materials and special showcases.

Wherever you are, no matter the weather or what part of the world you live in, the summer mindset is within you. It’s like rediscovering your sun kissed pictures from last summer, and reliving those moments amongst likeminded friends. You’re instantly filled with the fun, joy and laughter of those moments. Your free spirit takes over, and you’re ready to take the world by storm.

The video showcases Meltin’Pot’s true denim colours, and oozes an everlasting summer spirit. The SS12 key looks are featured against a concert backdrop starring budding band Melomanics.

These accomplished aspects are highly visible not only across the celebrated MP001 Utility Section that has a continuative yet extremely innovative denim soul, developing its iconic appeal through new textures, treatments and colours, but also across the Workshop range, together with a Yacht Master Inspiration. 

Original workwear designs are updated and revisited in a more than a vintage attitude: these work inspired jeans recapture the original magic of denim and the “good old days”. The Yacht Master collection is about a way of life with the look of a boyish, new, modern dandy, who moves with style and sophistication in an urban backdrop. A trailblazing pirate type who plays between city streets and exotic spots, he’s a trendsetter in versatile clothes: Jeanswear leads to sartorial experimentation.

Ok so, today I got those AMAZING and PERFECT pair of jeans as a gift from Meltin'Pot. I'm so excited about it because MP is one of my favourite brand ever when I need to buy a pair of jeans. So, when they wrote to me and told me they read my blog and wanted to collaborate with me I kinda had an heart attack ahah
